Brian Speed

Born in Alabama, I moved to Georgia as a teen, met my Beautiful Wife, Marla, and started a family with a son Shea and daughter Leah. In 1993, I moved my family to South Carolina to start a career with a Leading Manufacture’s Rep. Firm in the Southeast Markets. I prospered, and South Carolina became one of the top producers in sales.

In 2007, I was offered a partnership to move to Texas to help develop a new acquisition of South Central Territories. So I moved to Houston and began covering the Southeast Texas Market.

Texas is now my home, and I feel blessed for the many opportunities I have been given. In 2016, I moved to Dallas, and my son Shea moved to Houston, joining our team.

I have spent the majority of my life helping equipment manufacturers and customers grow their businesses. I am passionate and I love what I do whether presenting new products, bringing new technology to the market, product training, problem-solving, or consulting.

In 2020, I started Direct Source Equipment to have more control and influence over the direction the markets are moving and for the ability to continue growth.
